LPI started on January 1, 1980. We started as a representative for some of the top manufacturers in the packaging machinery world. We very quickly gained national recognition as the rep group to go to if you wanted your equipment sold in this territory.
After several years of great success selling into the Southwestern Region of the United States, the pressure from some of our largest customers to offer “systems integration services” and provide complete “turnkey” designed packaging lines was overwhelming. We succumbed to the demands and started offering complete lines in 1985. Since then, our systems integration side has become about 85% of our business.
The manufacturer’s representative will always be a part of our business model. However, the service we offer that has the best outcome for our customers is our systems integration service. This gives the customers a single vendor to design and guarantee the performance of the entire packaging line.
